The Complete Bridge Faucet Set — Nothing Missing

This unlacquered brass bridge kitchen faucet with lever handles and side sprayer is the most complete version of our bridge faucet range. Where our other bridge faucets come with cross handles, this one is fitted with lever handles — a slightly more refined, slightly more contemporary silhouette that works equally well in a traditional kitchen and a modern one. And where other faucets leave you sourcing a side sprayer separately, this set includes a matching solid brass sprayer that will age identically to the faucet over time.

Every component — the bridge body, the lever handles, the spout, the side sprayer — is made from 100% solid brass in our Marrakesh workshop and left completely raw. No lacquer. No coating. No sealant. Just solid brass, ready to develop a living finish patina shaped entirely by your kitchen, your water, and your daily use.

Two Spout Options — One Decision

This faucet is available in two spout configurations, as shown in our product images:

  • Straight neck spout: A tall, clean vertical spout that rises directly from the bridge body — more architectural, more formal, more period-correct for Victorian and Georgian kitchens. Shown in Images 1 and 3.

  • Gooseneck spout: The high sweeping arc that maximises clearance above the sink — generous, dramatic, and ideal for deep farmhouse sinks and large pots. Shown in Image 4.

Select your preferred spout style at checkout. Both are made from the same solid unlacquered brass and will develop the same living finish over time.

Lever Handles — A Different Character

The lever handle is the other great classic of kitchen faucet design. Where a cross handle requires a grip and a turn, a lever handle moves with a single fluid push or pull — intuitive, effortless, and elegant in motion. The lever handles on this faucet are shaped with a traditional profile: a tapered arm, a ball joint at the stem, and a small acorn finial at the tip — details that reference Victorian plumbing tradition while reading as timeless rather than period costume.

Lever handles develop their living finish most visibly at the grip point — the part of the arm where your hand closes around it every time you use the faucet. Over months and years, this area darkens to a warm amber-bronze that is smoother and deeper than the rest of the handle. It is one of the most personal expressions of the living finish — a record of exactly how this faucet has been used.

The Matching Side Sprayer

The side sprayer included with this set is made from the same solid unlacquered brass as the faucet. This matters more than it sounds. Most kitchen faucet sets include a sprayer made from a different material — chrome-plated zinc, brushed nickel, or stainless steel — that will age completely differently from the brass faucet beside it. Within a year, the two pieces look like they came from different kitchens.

Our sprayer is solid brass. It ages alongside the faucet, developing the same amber and bronze tones at the same pace, in the same way. In five years, your faucet and sprayer will look like they have always belonged together — because they have.

Why Black Marble and Dark Surfaces Work So Well

As you can see in our product photography, this unlacquered brass bridge faucet is photographed on a black marble surface — and the combination is striking. The warm gold of fresh unlacquered brass against black, charcoal, or deep navy creates a jewel-box effect that lighter countertop materials cannot replicate. If you have or are planning a dark stone countertop — nero marquina, black granite, soapstone, or dark slate — this faucet set was made for it.

Care Instructions

Daily: Wipe with a soft dry cloth after use. Keeps water spots from settling and allows the patina to develop evenly.

Weekly: Warm water and mild dish soap only. No abrasives, no bleach, no ammonia.

Side sprayer: Rinse and wipe after use. The sprayer nozzle can be soaked in diluted white vinegar monthly to prevent mineral buildup in hard water areas.

Monthly (optional): Lemon juice and baking soda paste restores brightness gently. Rinse thoroughly and dry. The living finish returns naturally over the following weeks.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between lever handles and cross handles on a bridge faucet?
Cross handles require a grip and rotation — four-armed, traditional, Victorian in origin. Lever handles move with a single push or pull — more fluid, slightly more contemporary, equally timeless. Both are available in our bridge faucet range. The choice is aesthetic: cross handles for a more period look, lever handles for something slightly more refined and versatile.

Is the side sprayer the same brass as the faucet?
Yes. The sprayer is solid unlacquered brass — not chrome, not nickel, not stainless. It ages identically to the faucet, developing the same living finish at the same pace. In five years, they will look like one cohesive set.

Which spout should I choose — straight neck or gooseneck?
Choose the straight neck for a more architectural, formal kitchen — particularly Victorian, Georgian, or classic European styles. Choose the gooseneck for more clearance above the sink and a more dramatic silhouette — ideal for farmhouse sinks and deep basins. Both are solid brass and develop the same living finish.

What countertops work best with this faucet?
This faucet is particularly striking on dark stone surfaces — black marble, nero marquina, soapstone, and dark granite. The warm gold of unlacquered brass against a dark countertop creates a jewel-box effect. It also works beautifully on white marble, light stone, and concrete — the contrast simply reads differently.

Does this faucet require 3 holes?
Yes. This set requires 3 holes: two for the bridge faucet at 203mm (8 inch) center spacing, and one for the side sprayer. Please confirm your sink or countertop has 3 holes before ordering, or contact us to discuss options.
