Every component of this shower system is made in the same workshop in the Semmarine quarter of the Marrakesh medina. This matters because it means every piece is made from the same brass alloy, to the same finish standard, and will age consistently as a unified whole. Care Instructions

Daily: No special action needed. The system develops its patina naturally from daily shower use.

Weekly: Wipe surfaces with a soft damp cloth to prevent heavy mineral buildup. Pay attention to the rain head face — a gentle wipe after the last shower of the day keeps deposits from hardening.

For mineral deposits on the rain head: Soak a soft cloth in a solution of equal parts white vinegar and water, lay it over the face of the rain head for 10 minutes, then rinse. This removes mineral deposits without damaging the brass or the patina.

What to embrace: The mottled, amber-toned face of the rain head after a few months of use. The darkened grip points on the cross handles. The way the entire system develops a warm, unified tone that makes a white-tiled shower feel like a completely different room.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will the brass hose match the rest of the system as it ages?
Yes. The flexible hose is also solid brass — not chrome-plated or stainless. It develops the same amber patina as every other component, ensuring the system ages as a visual whole.

Does the rain head get clogged with mineral deposits?
In hard water areas, some mineral buildup on the nozzle face is normal over time. A 10-minute soak with diluted white vinegar dissolves deposits effectively without damaging the brass. We recommend this monthly in hard water areas.

Can I install this system in an existing shower?
Yes. The valve connects to standard ½" BSP wall connections — the same as most existing shower plumbing. Your plumber can confirm compatibility with your specific wall setup before installation.

Is this system suitable for a low-pressure water supply?
The square rain head performs best with normal to good water pressure. For low-pressure systems, contact us before ordering — we can advise on the most suitable configuration.
