Description

What Makes This Faucet Different

Most kitchen faucets are designed to look the same on day one as they do five years later. This unlacquered brass bridge kitchen faucet works the opposite way. We leave the brass completely raw — polished smooth by hand in our Marrakesh workshop, then shipped to you with nothing between the metal and its future. No lacquer. No sealant. Just solid brass, ready to begin its own transformation the moment it meets your water, your air, and your daily rhythm.

The Living Finish — Before & After

The Before/After photo above shows exactly what this means in practice. The left side is the faucet fresh from our workshop — bright, warm gold. The right side is the same faucet in a real kitchen after 18 months of daily use. That deep amber and bronze tone cannot be faked, manufactured, or applied. It has to be earned.

Crafted in Marrakesh — Why This Matters

Our workshop is located in the Semmarine quarter of the Marrakesh medina — one of the oldest metalworking districts in North Africa. The craftsmen here have been working with brass for generations. Every unlacquered brass bridge kitchen faucet we produce is shaped individually: the gooseneck arc formed by hand, the cross handles turned on a traditional lathe, the bridge body assembled and soldered piece by piece.

We are not a marketplace. We are not a dropshipper. We are the workshop. When you buy from Antique Brass Moroccan, you buy directly from the people who made the piece.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is an unlacquered brass bridge kitchen faucet?
A solid brass faucet with no protective lacquer. The bridge design connects two spigot columns with a decorative bridge. Left raw, it develops a living finish — natural amber and bronze tones shaped by daily use over time.

Is it hard to maintain?
No. A 30-second wipe with a soft cloth after use is all that is needed daily. Weekly mild soap cleaning is enough. The living finish is forgiving — it does not scratch, peel, or chip.

What sinks does it fit?
Requires two holes spaced 203mm (8 inches) center to center. Compatible with farmhouse, undermount, and top-mount sinks in ceramic, fireclay, cast iron, stone, and stainless steel.

Where is it made?
Handcrafted in our workshop in the Semmarine quarter of the Marrakesh medina, Morocco. We are the manufacturer — not a reseller. Every order ships with a certificate of Moroccan handcraft origin.
